29' Bus for Sale: Gutted and ready for your creativity!
We've done all the hard work on this great bus! The new owner just needs to get creative and dig into the building process. It's a great bus. 2000 Retran 5-speed Automatic
Engine: Caterpillar 3126
Air Brakes and Air Ride System
29’ Long
Inside Height 76.25” (from current subfloor to metal rib)
Bus has 5 doors for loads of air flow, access and creativity
Outside:
Good tires
Brand new shocks
All stickers (and most of the glue) have been removed
Stop sign removed and holes closed in
New gaskets in some of the lights (remaining uninstalled gaskets come with bus)
Painted roof 3 coats of Elasto Kool 1000
Two MaxxAir fans installed (plastic still on for protection)
Inside:
All bus wiring pulled and reorganized by professional bus mechanic
Seats removed
Removed large AC/Heat units inside and under bus
Old flooring removed
Wheelchair railings removed and all holes sealed
Metal floor cleaned, sealed and painted (no rust issues)
Holes filled with fiberglass and glue
Ceiling and wall panels removed
Insulation removed
Installed subfloor: 1’ foamboard, ¾’ tongue & groove plywood, glued-no movement
Installed furring strip on walls
Furring strips for ceiling cut and ready to go!
Additional Notes:
We have the metal pieces for front and rear ceiling to use as template.
Still have the stop sign and “emergency” cabinet fronts if buyer wants them
