The TRUE Top 50 Songs of 1957 - Best Of List

Conditions:

1. Song qualifies if it was on an album released in the year stated. Songs released as stand-alone singles and/or preceding full album releases are included in the year of their earliest release.

2. Billboard Chart Position is irrelevant.

3. If one band has 10 songs worthy of the list, then 10 of their songs will be on the list.

4. No effort will be made to fairly represent a variety of genres, countries, sexes, etc.

5. No song will be included simply because it's "supposed to be" on a list like this.

6. No song will be excluded solely because it's popular and people actually enjoy listening to it.

7. No song will be included just to make me look contrarian or cool.

8. No ownership by me is stated or implied on any of these songs
