Crime Patrol - Unclaimed bodies (Part I) - Episode 235 - 19th April 2013

On the morning of 29th July 2011 a man in inebriated state gets of a bus on the streets of Jodhpur. He is hit by the same bus and falls into a ditch grievously injured. Three school students, Amit, Pratham and Vivek notice him. With the help of a jeep driver, they reach the man to the nearest hospital. But unfortunately, the man dies. The hospital authorities inform the nearest police station, the Bazaar Thana. The police find nothing on the man's body that could lead to his identification. The police put up notices in the newspapers. More than a week later, on the 9th of August, three people come forward to claim the body. Anil Rathore, his cousins Dharam and Shivani Singh, identify the body. Anil claims that it is the body of his cousin Gopal Singh, who is survived by his wife, and his mother Roopmati. After a few formalities, the police hand over the body to Anil Rathor. Nearly four months later, in another police station, the police officials trace the mobile phone of a missing person they have been in search for since August 2011. The IMEI tracking of the missing person's mobile phone yields results when the mobile phone is switched on with a new SIM card. What is the connection between the missing person and the man, who died on 29th July, 2011?

Instincts/Feelings/Signals that so often tell us that not everything is normal. May be, that signal/feeling/instinct is just not enough to believe it could result in a crime. Unfortunately after the crime is committed, those same signals come haunting.
