While traveling in Brazil, I absolutely could not miss out on visiting Rio de Janeiro, a city set in a beautiful landscape, a city with unmistakable atmosphere and a controversial reputation. Rio is truly a magical city; known for its Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the Christ the Redeemer statue atop Mt. Corcovado, Sugarloaf Mountain, and its Carnival festival, this seaside city is lively, to say the least!

I had such an amazing time in Rio and in Brazil in general! So many people told me that I was crazy to go there all by myself as a female solo traveler, but I’m so happy that I followed my instinct and gave this beautiful country a chance. The people of Brazil are probably some of the nicest, most helpful people I’ve ever met in my life and they definitely made sure I had a great time. Brazil welcomed me in with open arms and I’m so happy that I decided to come here for my last trip of 2020!🇧🇷🙌🏾
