Giorgio Armani Si Fiori Fragrance Review

Si Fiori is a soft, fruity and feminine fragrance for summer and the latest fragrance for women from Giorgio Armani.

The latest flanker in the Si line, Fiori was launched in March 2019 and is classed as a Chypre Floral. Si Fiori was created by Julie Masse who has created fragrances for Ungaro, Lalique, Bentley as well as Giorgio Armani.

The bottle is the same shape as the original Si Eau de Parfum. It's chunky with a black pebble-like stopper and has an internal lacquer just like the Si Passione, a personal favourite of mine, but this time around a delicate shade of pink.

Si Fiori has the same blackcurrant DNA strand that runs through the top notes of the Si Eau de Parfum and Si Passione. In the Fiori, the blackcurrant is not as heavy as in the original Eau de Parfum and is joined by green mandarin. Really fruity, incredibly fresh yet quite delicate.

Where the original Si Eau de Parfum had oakmoss and woods in the base, Fiori's chypre heart of patchouli, oakmoss and rose is interlaced with neroli. As the Si Fiori begins to dry down it's very delicate, soft and feminine. The fruity notes have become quite powdery and light. It's definitely not as fruity as the Si Eau de Parfum.

The base of Si Fiori is vanilla and white musk, both of which run through the Si line. Here I'm definitely picking up the white musk warmed and sweetened with vanilla. On the whole, I have to admit I'm more a lover of the lovely Si Passione than the Fiori. The Si Fiori is very light and powdery, not overtly fruity with white musk to the fore softened with fruity blackcurrant and vanilla. As the dry down is almost complete I can smell the green mandarin which is just slightly sharp and tangy but the predominant notes are white musk and vanilla.

Si Fiori has essences similar to those in fragrances such as the Narciso Rodriguez Eau de Parfum, which is the white chunky bottle, which has cashmere and white musk. There are also similarities to fragrances in the Kenzo family as well as Channel No5 and No5 L'Eau. Also Bonbon or even the Flowerbomb Nectar by Viktor and Rolf. If you enjoy these sort of fragrances with those slight vanilla essences I think Si Fiori by Giorgio Armani may be a fragrance to try.

Si Fiori is very much a skin scent, I don't think it's going to be one that projects a lot around me so it's not going to be too heavy in the hot weather. Maybe not so much a fragrance for the ladies that want something a bit heavier or long-lasting on the skin, this is definitely more delicate, very soft, feminine. I think it's going to be a lovely fragrance for summer.
