Gravity Blast Explained
this is the quickest possible explanation i could do for the gravity blast snare technique, otherwise known as freehand technique. it does not involve gravity and can be performed in a zero G environment if necessary. its all just about a lever and a fulcrum. add matching bass drums and you get a full blast beat. its pretty much a one handed roll but can be used for any rhythm or note value just like any regular stroke. the only downside is really that there is a definite maximum volume.
