Over the holidays, my good buddy Erik Curtis came to build a sculpted table from walnut with me. We used a piece of gorgeous air dried walnut left over from the Wood Whisperer Writing Desk Build. We were able to put the power carving techniques I learned last week with Michael Alm to use sculpting the legs. Erik showed me how to design and prototype using Insulation Foam and we worked together for three days to construct an heirloom table for the tiny house. It gives me so much joy to know my mom's tiny house will be filled with gorgeous, one of a kind furniture, and each piece will tell an awesome story of community and new skills and knowledge gained.
