Today’s video is about our amazing stay at the Matsuzakaya Honten Ryokan and Onsen in Hakone, Japan. This is a traditional Japanese inn that serves a beautiful Kaiseki breakfast and dinner and offers a private Onsen experience in Hakone. Thank you so much to Shibata who looked after us during our stay! She was very knowledgable about the menu and explained all the courses to us! We loved the traditional Japanese multi-course Kaiser menu! The whole team was very welcoming and knowledgable about the Ryokan’s history, best way to use an Onsen, and the best places to visit in Hakone!

***This ryokan serves Kaiseki breakfast and dinner which is a traditional Japanese multi course meal. I emailed Matsuzakaya Honten in advance to ask if they could adjust my Kaiseki menu to be vegetarian and they did which was amazing! Not all ryokans do this so always make sure to check in advance!
