The Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing is an American biplane with an atypical negative stagger: the lower wing is further forward than the upper wing. The Beechcraft Staggerwing is a large, powerful, and fast biplane built specifically for the business executive. Stagger Wing first flown was on November 4, 1932, setting the standard for private passenger airplanes for many years to come.

Captain Biff Windsock, William Charney, will be flying his Red Rockette Beachcraft Stagger Wing from New Zealand and around the world. In 1940, when Captain Bill first saw and fell in love with the Staggerwing at a US air show. It was the start of his life-long dream to one day own a Staggerwing.
Bill Charney was a military pilot: he flow on F-84, F-100, B-47 Canberra.
The name Red Rockette is in honour of one of his daughters who became one of the famed New York "Rockettes" dance troupe.
