Futures Decline as US Reopens; Alibaba Prepares AI App Revamp | Bloomberg Brief 11/13/2025

US equity futures edge lower as the longest government shutdown comes to an end amid a clouded outlook for interest rates. Alibaba is said to be preparing for a major overhaul of its flagship AI app to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT. The UK economy barely grew in the third quarter with GDP rising 0.1% compared with 0.3% previously. Stephanie Roth of Wolfe Research looks ahead to the economic data for the rest of the year as the White House announces that the October jobs and inflation figures will unlikely be released.
