Snow Summit Bike Park 2023 Opening Weekend / New Westridge Jumps are BIG! June 12, 2023

Snow Summit opened up late this year due to all the snow but it was definitely worth the wait. I didnt go opening day because I wanted to avoid the long lines so I waited until Monday to roll up. It was raining on the way up the mountain but once we passed Arrow Bear it blue bird skies. The weather was good for the first few hours. I was blown away on all the new jumps. I was already told how much bigger they were but it was hard to tell on videos I was shown. My first lap down Westridge I cased the shit out of the new jumps, they were much bigger than I thought. I was finally able to bit them all clean on my 3rd lap. The whole jumpline flows so much better, my only complaint is the first jump after muscle beach is a little bucky, I feel like you have to slow down to hit it then speed up to hit the next 3 jumps. I wished they would make that jump longer and less lippy and it would be perfect.
I am blown away at how good the jumpline is I hope they start putting in the same work at Snow Valley. I really look forward to hitting the park all summer.
