DIY GFCI Receptacle Outlet installation - How to

Installing a GFCI Outlet and a regular outlet in a 20 Amp circuit in a moist environment like a bathroom or garage.
In this case I am using a metal outlet box, which requires a (green colored) grounding screw and the ground wire being connected to it. In case of using a plastic box, this is not necessary.

It is important to connect the correct two ports to the power cable, coming from the breaker box. Failure to do so, renders the GFCI function inoperable!
Make sure to follow the NEC and the local code!
