Oh my leaking router spindle, join me as I fix the water leak in my cnc router motor.

This is the story of my Chinese import cnc router. It has worked for several years without issue however I noticed rust on the collet's. Turns out there was a water leak. Lots of these spindle motors are water cooled, this one is 2.2Kw and definitely needs the cooling. After a bit of investigation I found the water was leaking internally. Nothing for it but to strip it down and fix it. A much cheaper option than a new motor.
So join me as I tear this apart and break it in the process, spoiler I did fix it! I offer this as a how to so you can learn from my mistakes. To me fixing things is preferable to replacing and often cheaper.
