1 year ago I found my attic door open in my closet. With no one I know who opened it I decided to put my phone up into the hole and record a 360 view (thinking it would be too dangerous to go up there myself) and found that the attic is open and attached to all the upstairs apartment units. Feeling unsafe when the landlord/manager of the building tried telling me that there is "no way the attics are connected" I requested for the attic door to be nailed shut. I soon found that the nails clearly would do nothing but decided against my better judgment to stay quiet.
3 nights ago I woke to hear what sounded like loud tapping above my bed *that I actually got on camera* then heard a similar noise sounding further away above my neighbors unit. I instantly text the manager the audio I recorded and waited for his response after taking precaution and securing my closet door with a small ladder.The manager later responded telling me it was a mouse and no way a person. He then called pest control and that is why I'm filming today.
Initially I meant to film what the pest control worker said and to be hopefully brought ease but instead he just told me that the only signs of animals look old and that not only could a person NOT get up there but the units "arent connected". Feeling belittled and angry that no one is listening to me, I decided to take action and recruited my roommate to help guide me into the attic where I found some bizarre things that may just prove my theory of a person (or people) being in the attic.
New theory: Is this actually paranormal? Am I haunted? Was is the ghost of someone who put their bottles in my attic? Depends on what you believe.
