Going Deep with Dancers - In the Backyard with Steve Johnson by Jasmine Worrell.

Jasmine Worrell started the Swing Nuts, a group of dedicated Marin-based social dancers specializing in Jitterbug and Lindy hop, in late 2016. Since then, the community grew from about 5 dancers to well over 50 dancers who have helped to keep the dance community alive while supporting many event venues, dance studios and local musicians. Steve Johnson has not only been taking weekly lessons with Jasmine since late 2016 when Jasmine Worrell Dance launched out of San Anselmo, he become the GLUE to the community. Steve was the dedicated Ambassador of Entertainment, organizing weekly dance events for Jasmine and the larger community across the Bay Area. Since March 2020, after COVID hit, the dance community has been fractured and unable to social dance, and due to the isolation, Jasmine is now working on mini interviews to help connect the Swing Nuts with the community in a new format.
