Why Pop Smoke was So Unique. Pop Smoke was a 20-year-old rapper born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Pop Smoke started his career in 2018 when he started remixing songs from the New York City drill scene before making his own original music. In April of 2019 Pop Smoke broke into the mainstream with the release of his single Welcome to the Party which made people fall in love with his harsh vocal delivery.

From that point on he would go on to drop hits such as Dior & Foreigner on his Meet The Woo projects. His posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon was a commercial success and was adored by his fans. Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon spawned songs such as Mood Swings & Something Special. Why do you think Pop Smoke was so unique?
