Three days in Cox’s Bazar! 🌊🩵

We stayed at Sayeman again. Most rooms were fully booked due to the rush, so we went with a twin room and had the beds pushed together, only to find tiny bugs in the wood at night. We complained and they cleaned it, but some bugs stuck around. Service was very slow. I think their service varies from room to room. The infinity sea view room was great and they provided prompt service. The in-house food was good like always.

And during breakfast… oh my goodness. People literally fought over tables, kids were screaming, women were shoving us to get food, and then glaring at us while eating. What an experience! I even skipped one day just to avoid this nonsense.

Had a great time at the pool. The weather was beautiful, didn’t even get a sunburn. It rained a whole day and night, and the waves were huge during high tide.

Visited some of our favorite spots like Sugar, Salt, Arabika, Al Goni, and Sun Dancer (forgot to take videos though). We had brunch at Sugar with a beef croissant sandwich and a chicken sandwich. I would say their desserts are better. Arabika has a great sea view, so watching the waves crash while sipping your coffee feels amazing. Al Goni serves delicious Bangla food. Really loved the korola fry, beef kala bhuna, and rabri jilapi.

Honestly, Cox’s Bazar felt much more relaxed years ago when fewer people visited. Now it’s really crowded, rowdy and chaotic, almost like a fish bazar! Still, a good break from city life.
