Predestination: God's Sovereignty, Man's Freewill, & the Doctrine of Compatibility
http://gracetheologyinstitute.com In this video GTI presents Predestination, God's Sovereignty, Man's Freewill, & the Doctrine of Compatibility.
What is the doctrine of Compatiblism?
1) Compatiblism is God's sovereignty co-existing with man's free-moral-agency.
2) Compatiblism is how God's will and man's will interact with each other to bring about a certain and expected end.
3) Compatiblism, holds, though God is sovereign over-all, and though man's free-moral-agency of will may exist only for evil purposes, God sovereignly superintends or interacts with mans' will and intentions in order to bring to pass a certain and expected outcome.
An outcome which most certainty and most expectantly fulfills God's own divine purpose and glory.
We will answer 10 Important Questions...
1) Does man truly have free-will?
2) What is the difference between, free-will and free moral agency?
3) Can God save a man without man's participation and cooperation?
4) Who is sovereign in salvation, God or man?
5) Does God need man's permission in order to save him?
6) Can a man seek or choose God in his fallen and spiritually-dead state?
7) Is salvation a synergistic or monergistic work?
8) What is the doctrine or principle of compatiblism?
