I've lived in Nicaragua for over 3 years and moving here totally changed my life. That being said I understand not everybody who moves to Managua Nicaragua will have the same experience. There are 3 main advantages and 3 main drawbacks living here in Managua.

Personally the 3 biggest advantages of a life in Nicaragua are the cost of living, the sense of family, and the free time.

The 3 biggest drawbacks of a life in Nicaragua are the visible hardship, alcoholism in nicaragua, and the extreme wealth gap. These are all my personal experiences and there are exceptions to everything I say in this video. Take it all with a grain of salt before you decide on a life in Nicaragua!
