"Regimental Quick Marches of Lancashire Regiments": Band of the Coldstream Guards 1908
HMV B112 (9318e). Recorded 17th December 1908. Band of the Coldstream Guards - conducted by Bandmaster Lieutenant J. Mackenzie Rogan.
The East Lancashire Regiment - (30th/59th Foot) - "Lancashire Lad" This was not actually the official regimental march at this time, but was the old march of the 59th.
The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment - (47th/81st Foot) - "The Red Red Rose". Adopted about 1885.
The South Lancashire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's Volunteers) - (40th/82nd Foot) - "God Bless the Prince of Wales". Adopted in 1891.
The Manchester Regiment - (63rd/96th Foot) - "The Manchester". This was an arrangement of two Neopolitan songs, arranged by an italian bandmaster of the 96th pre 1881, and taken into use by the Manchester Regiment from 1881.
