Maxoak Bluetti AC50 solar generator review vs. Goal Zero Yeti 500X and Jackery 500

I've decided to start reviewing alternatives to Goal Zero Yeti solar generators and am starting with this Maxoak Bluetti AC50 500Wh Power Station. In this video, I review the AC50 and compare it to the Goal Zero Yeti 500X and Jackery 500 solar generators to find out which is the best value for your money.

Quick take: this the the best value if you're looking for a 500wh solar generator especially if you're charging lots of USB devices and includes nice extras like wireless charging, a lantern, and lots of accessories but keep in mind the 12v output is unregulated so you need to know that if using this with a 12v appliance like a compressor fridge. The Goal Zero 500X is honestly way overpriced at $700 since it doesn't bring anything extra to the table and you can get a refurbished 1000 for close to that price with double the capacity (but no MPPT and unregulated 12v - boo). The Jackery is a closer competitor price-wise but is still $100+ more and only has the advantage of a regulated 12v output and slightly higher output inverter (but is there a big difference in what appliances need 300w vs. 500w?). Note: I was provided a review unit from Maxoak but this is a 100% unbiased review where I get into the pros and cons and don't pull any punches. I know a lot of folks are looking at alternatives to Goal Zero that are a better value so that's why I'm starting to review other brands here.
