How a Halloween Legend was Born

John Carpenter made Halloween for a budget of only $325k, which is about $1.2M in today's money, but he used tricks that any filmmaker can use to craft a film. He also used proper storytelling techniques so that Halloween, a film that could be a goofy or stupid slasher films in the wrong hands, instead ending up being a taut thriller.
