"Sunday" by LJ Reynolds

Sunday is taken from LJ Reynolds' latest CD titled THE MESSAGE on Crystal Rose Records. Recorded in Detroit, the album features six tracks produced by Reynolds himself and co-produced by musician (keyboards), songwriter, arranger/ producer, Michael Mindingall (Jennifer Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Dorinda Clark Cole). They include the hand-clapping "Shout" that features Reynolds family members handling background vocals, a spirit re-enforcing "You Can Make It", the worshipful "Sunday", "Jesus Cares", "Never Get Too Busy", and "There's A Message In This Song". "A Set Time" (as a tribute to "God's Special Gift" Kayla Parker) and "So Good" were produced by Grammy winning hitmaker, Michael J. Powell (Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Yolanda Adams, the Winans, Tyrese, etc.), with the latter track co-produced by Curtiss Boone (Wendy Moten, Aretha Franklin). To top off the great team of producers, Grammy and Stellar Award winning producer, Sanchez Harley (Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, The Mighty Clouds of Joy), contributed a memorable remake of the Thomas A. Whitfield classic "We Need A Word From The Lord". There is a special "Word" moment in the middle of the CD entitled "A Spoken Word" eloquently delivered by Pastor Don Wiggins.
