1998 World Rally Championship - Round 8 Acropolis Rally

After Round 7 marked the half way point of the season the second half of WRC 1998 kicked off with Round 8 one of the toughest rallies of the season the Acropolis Rally in Greece. Now in 1997 Ford took a landmark 1-2 finish with team orders forcing Juha Kankkunen who joined the team a round prior replacing Armin Schwartz to allow Carlos Sainz the honour of taking the first win for the Ford/M-Sport partnership, a partnership that still runs to this very day.
