Hello and welcome back to my channel! I DIY'd a tripod so I am still trying to figure out my camera settings. Sorry for the weird angle throughout most of the video... oops. For today's video, I did a cash envelope stuffing with the remainder of the tips that I had before the COVID-19 lockdown. A little update - I did apply for Employment Insurance so I should be receiving some income from that while temporarily laid off for the time being. I also filmed a "Plan with Me" style video in my Happy Planner, which is different for me so I will be posting that soon. I hope you are all doing well still! Let's all continue to practice social distancing and only leave our house for essential reasons.
A little bit about myself:
I am a 26-year-old Canadian living in British Columbia. I am a full-time server/bartender at the moment... waiting to see if I will be getting accepted into a dental hygiene program. I accumulate all my cash tips from the week and stuff my cash envelopes for the following week on Sunday. I leave the money I get from my paycheck in my bank account to pay for my bills/expenses, while my cash tips stuff my cash envelopes and my sinking funds. The remainder from my cash tips after deducting from my cash envelopes and sinking funds goes toward my Debt Snowball. Whatever money I have leftover from the week will roll over towards my Debt Snowball. So before I go back to school, I hope to pay off a good chunk of my debt with Baby Step Number 2. I will not be taking out loans for school if I do get accepted. I currently live at home, helping my mom with rent and other expenses as well.
