In far north Queensland the tourist town of Port Douglas is wondering what life will look like on the other side of the pandemic. Businesses are trying to survive its second failed tourist season in a row, and some might not make it through without support. There has also been a mass buy up of properties by southerners, exacerbating an existing housing shortage in the area. But despite feeling unsupported and far away, the small community is doing its best to look after one another.
