Wooden Avocado 🥑

Body of the avocado is segmented walnut, inside is stained curly maple, the seed is padauk. This was so much more complicated than I thought when I started. Precision fitting innards/outards, intersecting pieces, nontraditional hinge options. I learned a lot.

First big project using Mirka sandpaper and I'm really amazed at how long this stuff lasts. Easily lasts 4x times longer than the diablo sandpaper I used to use.

Milling was done on the X-Carve with Bits and Bits CNC router bits.

I HAD SOME CAMERA GREMLINS AND AM AWARE THE VIDEO ISN'T UP MY USUAL QUALITY STANDARDS. CAMERA IS FIXED, WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN.
