PV Grid EV Charging with Fuzzy MPPT in MATLAB Simulation | PV Grid EV Charging with Fuzzy MPPT

In this video, we explain the MATLAB/Simulink simulation of a PV grid-connected EV charging system using a Fuzzy MPPT controller. The proposed system includes a solar PV array, boost converter, EV battery, bidirectional DC–DC converter, DC bus, grid-connected full-bridge inverter, and inverter control system.

The fuzzy MPPT algorithm is used to extract maximum power from the PV system under varying irradiance conditions. The simulation shows PV voltage, PV current, PV power, EV battery voltage, current, power, SOC, DC-link voltage, grid voltage, grid current, grid power, and overall power-sharing performance.

This model is useful for understanding renewable energy-based EV charging, fuzzy logic MPPT control, battery charging behavior, grid power support, and MATLAB/Simulink-based power electronics system design.
