This video demonstrates how to reset the admin password on your Canon Imagerunner ADV MFPs. This will work for most Canon printer models with the number-pad and settings button.

We forgot our login information and couldn't access the settings via the web portal or the touch-pad on the unit. We were in a bind and couldn't wait for a Canon tech to be dispatched to our location. This simple process resets the password to Canon's default password and allows you to make changes to the printer settings again.

Model: Canon iR-Adv C5550i
Default Username: Administrator
Default Password: 7654321

Default passwords can vary, you may need to search the internet for a specific model password if yours is different than the one listed above.
