Big Cover Crop Radishes--Are they good or not so good?

It seems like marketing companies like to show the "State Fair" Radishes in their sales pieces..."my radish is bigger than their radish" kind of marketing. Well, are the "State Fair" radishes that good? Are they "better" than the longer, smaller tubers? In this video you'll see what I found in a field in NW Ohio on 11/11/2010.
