Lions and plastic pollution || Kenya || Wild Extracts
Lion cubs play with plastics before joining their mother lioness in one of the national parks.
Lions are alluded to be the strongest of wild animals and should be safest in the wild but when it comes to plastic pollution, they are just as vulnerable as all other animals. Strangulation, suffocation and starvation are the commonest ways through which plastics kill our wildlife.
During our Game drives and errands inside the National Parks and Game Reserves, we come across scenarios where wildlife seems helpless out of human activities such as pollution -plastics and poaching - snaring and we have to free them so as to ensure the sustainability of our wildlife.
Today we join hands in lauding the Government of Kenya for banning single-use plastics within our pristine landscapes. We also appeal to you to help us get back to the Parks and Reserves and support our wildlife; you may support us by DONATING TO OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN AT: https://gogetfunding.com/helpfuelforwildlife
