WATCH: Barr says he hasn't seen political bias at FBI in his tenure

Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, asked Attorney General William Barr if he knew who had released a March 27 letter from special counsel Robert Mueller, in which Mueller expressed disagreement with the way Barr had characterized his report. Crapo said that the sharing of the letter with news organizations raised concerns about government leaks, as well as political bias at the FBI. Barr commended FBI Director Christopher Wray and said he personally hadn't observed political bias at the bureau since he took over. Barr said that more often than being motivated by partisanship, people who leak don't like how their supervisors have handled an investigation.
