Araghchi calls on BRICS to condemn US and Israel

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed BRICS member states, calling on them to explicitly condemn what he described as illegal aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran and to take concrete action to end what he called a culture of impunity among those who violate the UN Charter. Araghchi said Iran was ready to defend itself militarily while remaining open to diplomacy, and warned that regional instability was a "lose-lose proposition for all sides." He urged BRICS nations to unite against what he characterised as coercive pressure from declining powers, saying such practices "belong in the dustbin of history."
