COOKING THE WORLD'S BEST RATED SOUP!!! | SINIGANG RECIPE

My Sinigang recipe
(What i used in the video)
- 2.5 lbs pork spare ribs (asked butcher to cut in cubes)
- 2 yellow onions
- 2 big tomatoes
- 4 garlics
- Handful of green beans (snap off stems)
- 4 bokchoy (you can also use cabbage)
- 3 or more of Knorr tamarind soup mix (Sinigang sa Sampalok mix)
depending on how sour you like
(Other veggie options to add on is eggplant, potatoes, okra)
Instructions:
Boil big pot of water. Throw in spare ribs and set to medium high. You will notice "gunk" floating to top, so you scoop it out. Boil for at lease 15-20 mins and make sure there is no more gunk. Set to medium low and throw in vegetables/sinigang packet then cover and stir occassionally. (Keep out bok choy/cabbage for last) The longer you cook, the more tender your meat will be. Make sure to taste test to see if you would want the soup more sour. Once done, turn off heat throw in bok choy and cover again for 5-10 mins. If you want the bok choy soft, do not turn off heat, and cook for another 10 mins. Once done, serve over bed of rice and enjoy!
