Arcada Theatre is my favorite smaller venue in the Chicagoland area. Up front (first 3 rows) can be difficult if your not in contact with venue, but occasionally can be found on secondary market such as StubHub, but if on the mailing list for on sale info time of sale can usually get extremely good seats up front.
