The Professor discusses some of the chemistry behind the recent controversy involving Volkswagen cars.

CLARIFICATION: While many diesel engines (including VW cars) use urea as discussed (marketed as AdBlue), we've heard from viewers explaining the technique VW "fiddled with the computer" used another NOX-removal technology.
