Our Rich Journey - Investing in real estate is a great way to achieve financial independence and to retire early (FIRE). When pursuing FIRE, most people opt to either invest in real estate or to invest in the stock market. We actually did both! During our journey, we invested in three properties. In less than five years time, from the point that we bought all three properties to the point that we renovated and sold them all, we made more than $400,000 in profits.
