Kwikset Smartcode 912 Z-wave lock Installation and Enrollment on Alarm.com

Lately, we've been digging more into the automation side of home and business security systems, so today we're bringing you a simple tutorial video on a smart lock we installed. Kwikset has made quite the name for itself being the leading manufacturer of residential locks. Since 1947 Kwikset has been producing top-quality locks and, since the introduction of smart home automation, has since created numerous smart locks to improve the security of your home.

The Kwikset Smartcode 912 is one of those many smart locks. The Smartcode 912 is a 6-button, lever-action smart lock capable of handling up to 30 user codes, from 4 to 8 digits long. It also employs Kwikset's Smartkey technology giving an incredibly secure key-lock as well as allowing you to rekey the lock if necessary.

This video will detail our experience installing the Smartcode 912, as well as enrolling it for automation on an Alarm.com account.
