29 years running The Red Lion, Biddenden, Kent

Bob Hewitt and his wife have run The Red Lion public house in Biddenden, Kent, for the past twenty-nine years. Other pubs in the village have gone, but this one survives.

The Red Lion dates back to a private house in the 15th century built by a soldier returning from the spoils of war. It's a traditional English pub with home-cooked food.

What is it like running a pub for so long? Bob talks about his experience.
