Climbing Agag's Groove - Buachaille Etive Mor **4K**

Agag's Groove is a climb on Rannoch Wall: a crag half way up Buachaille Etive Mor!! The climbing is exposed and superbly situated with views out over Ranch Moor and the mountains of Glen Coe and Glen Etive.

The most straight forward place to park along the A82 at Altnafead. From there walk up to the waterslide and scramble up some pretty rough ground to the base of Curved Ridge. From here the simplest route to the base of the crag is to scramble up the lower half of Curved Ridge until level with Ranch Wall and take the path over. The descent we took was to summit Buachaille Etive Mor and return down the tourist route.

At VD Agag's is a pretty easy route: we didn't even wear our climbing shoes. The exposure, lovely climbing and brilliant views are what make it a classic. A must do!
