HOW TO BUILD A OFF-ROAD MOWER PART 3

Part 3 I build my steering set up ~ tie rod, steer rod, spindles, steering stops. Your front end and steering needs to be a strong built system as its going to have to take a lot of abuse and if you want a reliable & capable rif your gunna wanna build your crap strong! Put some time into your builds!
Anyways I go over my 5 bolt hubs and how I weld them solid. And mount my 25” at tires on my 12” utility trailer rims mounted backwards!

Next I go over my custom dual exhaust, I will be building my own mufflers so stay tuned for how I do that!

I relocate my battery to my engine bay, on this model craftsman the battery is originally under the drivers seat, butt I like to use that area as a storage compartment, thus the relocation. Now if your doing this rememberer that your going to want to make sure that the steering gear set doesn’t come in contact with the battery and that you have a Sufficient heat guard from engine heat!

When removing your old wiring harness make sure trace out each wire so your know which ones to delete.
