Commodore 1541-II Ultimate - unofficial

Showcasing my custom Commodore 1541-II Ultimate drive project, a modernized take on the classic floppy disk drive used with the Commodore 64. I started with an original 1541 mechanism and redesigned the enclosure to create a smaller, cleaner build while adding several new features.

This version includes a multi-ROM solution, track display, activity indicators, and parallel support, all housed in a custom 3D-printed case. The goal was to preserve the functionality of the original hardware while improving usability and aesthetics for modern retro-computing setups.
