"Now we're in the green hushing world, where corporates can't say anything. So that tap got turned off. And it didn't get turned off because companies were lying. They were telling the truth, the good ones, about what they were doing."

When companies can't communicate about their environmental initiatives without facing accusations of greenwashing, many simply go silent - and stop funding critical conservation projects altogether.
