Skoda Fabia Fan speed 4 resistor pack replacement repair

How to fix your fan if only speed number 4 works. Most likely the resistor pack has blown (speed 4 doesnt need any resistors working to function).
Update after 4 months the resistor pack failed again so I have taken out the fan and oiled it as per info here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/149610-fabia-heater-blower/?_fromLogin=1#replyForm
Let’s see how long another resistor pack lasts now, if it fails again I’ll buy a new fan.
