We now have 13 rescues and one came to us pregnant! We spoil them every day with treats and love and all the hay they can eat! We also practice preventative medicine to keep our horses as healthy as they can be, reducing our vet visits. We have the absolute BEST barefoot farrier, keeping all our horses hooves, strong, healthy and natural. We have two dedicated employees besides myself. The trainer who works with the horses behavioral issues and earns the trust of the abused ones. The ranch manager who delivers and unloads hay, grain and supplements, feeds them all 3x a day, builds their shelters and fences, and has the ultra glamorous task of scooping poop every day! My sister helps us by giving them treats, giving tours, running the Heart of Gold Sanctuary social media pages and taking shower cute videos and photos! We all love our jobs and love our horsey friends!
