Scott Beckstead, DO is a family medicine provider at our Farmington location. He attended Weber State for his undergrad, then A.T. Still University for medical school, and completed his residency in family medicine at Utah Valley IHC. He loves exploring the many facets of medicine.

Dr. Beckstead has a passion for medicine and has special interests in preventative medicine, dermatology, sports medicine, medical procedures including ultrasound-guided joint injections, and skin procedures such as botox and microneedling. As a family medicine provider, he enjoys seeing patients of all ages at any stage of life including pediatrics.

Dr. Beckstead offers knee, shoulder injection and trigger point injection for back pain and shoulder pain. He also provides dermatological procedures including micro needling for scars, moles, treatment for keloid scars, cysts, and warts.

Dr. Beckstead believes in treating the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. “I believe patients should have a choice, that a physician’s job is to evaluate, educate and treat the whole person with compassion and respect.” He believes family practice has a special relationship of trust with each patient to help guide them through the different challenges of life.

Dr. Beckstead’s traits that make him successful in family medicine are compassion and an “unrelenting drive” to evaluate and properly diagnose and treat patients.
