Testing Wave Wands GHD vs Babyliss

I love a cool girl wave - I long for Kate Moss hair but ,short of kidnapping Sam McKnight, the closest I am going to get is a wave wand. So which should you buy? GHD for £120 vs Babyliss for £40 - which is the best? I put them to the test and weigh up the pros and cons of each cool girl oval wave wand.

GHD Curve Classic Wave costs more, but is more substantially made and feels heavier and weightier. It heats up more quickly and has one temperature which is 185 Degrees C. Babyliss Big Wave Wand £40, is the same shape but with four heat settings. It takes longer to heat up but it has a longer barrel which makes it better for longer hair.It comes with a heat proof glove (that works on left and right hands) and a small flat heat protect pad that to be honest is not great. No carry case.

Both essential have shut off switches if left on and not used.
