Fouga CM-170R Magister - RIAT 2017 Departures

This former military Fouga CM-170R Magister, which is now on the French Civil Aircraft register as F-AZXV, is seen leaving RAF Fairford in style, following its appearance in the static aircraft line up during The Royal International Air Tattoo 2017.

The Magister is a jet trainer developed in the 1950s by French company Fouga. Over 900 were built and served with a number of air forces as trainer aircraft.
