Cat Bull Dozer Stuck In a Ditch! - how did we manage this

Again The Dozer is stuck! My uncle was trying to grade along the ditch with the cat D3 dozer which he successfully did for a long distance. However, near the end of the day it slid down into the ditch and there was no recovery. We had to use the Link Belt 210 excavator to move some dirt and create a path for the dozer as well as pull it out of the mud with a chain. The dozer was really stuck in the mud o the lower side at the bottom of the ditch. It was like a soup mud that you would just sink into. In the end the Link Belt excavator had no trouble pulling the Cat d3 dozer out.
