CCTV allegedly shows ARSONIST near home of 82-year-old killed in house fire

Jurors have been played CCTV footage that prosecutors allege show arsonist Andrew Gorrell near the scene of a fire that killed 82-year-old John Edwards in Wednesbury, West Midlands, in May last year.

The footage appears to show Gorrell, 54, in an Esso garage and loitering near Mr Edwards’s house, before a fire is seen taking hold of the property.

Gorrell admits manslaughter, but denies Mr Edwards’s murder.
